Integrating both data-driven and knowledge-driven feedback is essential for optimizing the overall system. This ensures the system addresses technical considerations while remaining user-friendly, cost-effective, and meeting business objectives.

While "Does it work?" is at the heart of acceptance testing, the key lies in defined "Acceptance Criteria." Forget vague statements. Specify measurable behaviors users expect, covering: Functionality: (Example: Wishlist a product with one click from any card.) Usability: (Example: Access wishlist across devices, logged in or not.) Behavior: (Example: Syncing wishlist items upon login.) This ensures your product truly meets user needs, regardless of testing type (UAT, BAT, etc.). Tip: Consider edge cases! Define behavior for unexpected situations too. Remember, acceptance criteria set the bar for a successful launch.

Analyze key factors and how they affect cost based on historical data and use projected growth for cost estimations. For an e-commerce store, its generally around: 1. Traffic: Prepare for user surges with data-driven CDN & server cost estimates. Consider past traffic & growth projections. 2. Complexity: Feature-rich? Analyze historical coding efforts for similar projects to estimate dev rates & tool needs. 3. Data & Growth: Product volume & data generation determine storage & processing. Leverage past growth patterns for informed estimates. Remember, adapt these factors to your unique store! And these are directional, there are many more factors.

Ditch vague "better" goals! Define quality with measurable targets: Identify: What truly defines success? SMARTen Up: Set Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-Bound goals. Track Progress: Plan how you'll measure with tools & methods (e.g., analytics, surveys). Vision Map: Set Short, Mid & Long-term goals for continuous improvement. Personally, I prefer to use OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) for structured tracking.

Empathy for the users who need assistive technology is the prerequisite. I urge developers to stay current on what the web platforms already provide. There have been tons of improvements in the recent past, especially in CSS and JS space. Understanding the web platform would help you inform your decisions on libraries you need or don't need. Many times, we act on our old experiences, which are not relevant anymore. The dev workflows would mostly depend on the stack and tools you pick, but generally, you want accessible and responsive web applications that are performant and have good overall web vital scores.
